Jakub Kiwior’s transfer to Porto was only confirmed in the final minutes of the English window, but the financial details are now emerging.

According to Correio da Manhã, Porto have paid €2 million for a season-long loan, with an obligation to buy for €17 million at the end of the campaign.
A further €5 million is included in achievable add-ons.
The contract also contains a sell-on clause but not a great one: if Porto move the 25-year-old on in the future, Arsenal are guaranteed an additional €2 million.

The Pole, who can also operate at left-back, admitted the process had been fraught. “It was a difficult period because I had to wait, but I’m finally here,” he said on arrival in Portugal, reflecting the tension of a move that hinged on Piero Hincapié’s switch from Bayer Leverkusen to Arsenal being completed.
Kiwior leaves Arsenal having played 68 times for the Gunners, scoring three, assisting five, and increasing his value from the €19.5m Arsenal originally paid for him in January 2023.
