Youth player Mishel Nduka has confirmed his departure from Charlton Athletic ahead of a reported move to the Arsenal academy.

Following reports of an imminent move to Arsenal, Charlton Athletic youngster Mishel Nduka has confirmed he’s leaving the Championship club.
“After 8 years at Charlton Athletic FC, my time with the club has come to an end,” Nduka wrote on Instagram.
“A huge thank you to my family and the staff at Charlton who have guided me along my journey. Charlton will always have a special place in my heart. On to the next chapter!”

Though Nduka didn’t formally confirm that he’s joining Arsenal, and the Gunners are yet to announce his signing, reports have strongly suggested that’s the plan.
TheBallerzScout recently reported that Arsenal had completed a deal to sign Nduka, fighting off interest from the likes of Brighton & Hove Albion and Wolverhampton Wanderers to make the signing.
The report added that the 15-year-old will initially go into the Arsenal u16 squad, potentially also making some appearances for the u18s.
Nduka had already made his Charlton u18 debut, as well as receiving a call-up from the England u15s. It may not be quite so easy for him to break into the u18 team at Arsenal, but at 15 years old he has plenty of time to do so.

Arsenal have made a few youth signings this summer, with Remy Mitchell returning to the club after running down his contract with Haringey, Marcell Washington joining from Chelsea, Callan Hamill from St. Johnstone, Remi Lupinski from MK Dons, and Demiane Agustien from Derby County.
The Gunners made bids for at least two more players, but they saw their pursuit of Salford City’s Will Wright hijacked by Liverpool and multiple bids rejected for Igor Tyjon of Blackburn Rovers. It’s been a busy summer of recruitment at all levels at Arsenal.
