Ben White is likely to miss Arsenal’s game against Liverpool this weekend, with the player also sitting out of the international break due to injury.

Charlie Wyett reports that Ben White wants to play for England again and would have been in Thomas Tuchel’s squad for the September international break, but he’s due to miss out thanks to injury.
Wyett adds that the niggling issue is also likely to see White sidelined for Sunday’s trip to Liverpool.
Fortunately, Arsenal should have Jurrien Timber available for the Liverpool game, and Cristhian Mosquera has also shown himself to be capable of playing on the right-hand side.

White played the opening 71 minutes of Arsenal’s competitive campaign away to Manchester United, but he was withdrawn earlier than planned after picking up his current injury.
The defender then missed Arsenal’s 5-0 win over Leeds United, and it looks as though he’ll also be absent for the Liverpool game.
The good news is that the international break gives White some time to return to fitness before Arsenal’s next game. After Liverpool on Sunday, the Gunners don’t play again until Saturday, September 13th, when they’ll host Nottingham Forest in a Premier League encounter.

Arsenal will have plenty of matches in September for White to get back up to speed, including three Premier League fixtures, a League Cup game away to Port Vale, and a couple of Champions League games (though the second is likely to be on October 1st rather than September 30th).
So it may be for the best if the full-back rests up for now, ensuring he’s available to feature in that busier period next month.
