The final qualifying round for the UEFA Women’s Champions League has been drawn, with some of Europe’s biggest names set to battle for a place in the new League phase.

This is the final round of qualifiers for the new UEFA Women’s Champions League format, which will be similar to the men’s tournament with an 18-team League phase.
Arsenal are already through to the League phase alongside eight other sides from the top six ranked associations over the last five years: OL Lyonnais and Paris Saint-Germain from France, FC Bayern and Wolfsburg from Germany, FC Barcelona from Spain, Chelsea from England, Juventus from Italy and Benfica from Portugal.
The other nine teams will be known following qualifying round 3, with four teams coming from the Champions Path and five from the League Path.
The draw is as follows:
Champions Path
- Valerenga (NOR) v Ferencvaros (HUN)
- Vorskla Poltava (UKR) v OH Leuven (BEL)
- Sankt Pölten (AUT) v Fortuna Hjørring (DEN)
- Katowice (POL) v FC Twente (NED)
League Path
- BK Häcken (SWE) v Atlético de Madrid (ESP)
- Paris FC (FRA) v Austria Wien (AUT)
- SK Brann (NOR) v Manchester United (ENG)
- Eintracht Frankfurt (GER) v Real Madrid (ESP)
- AS Roma (ITA) v Sporting Portugal (POR)
The games will be played on 11 and 18 September, with the draw for the League phase taking place on 19 September.
Arsenal are guaranteed to be top seed in the League phase draw as title holders.
The Pot 1 teams with the highest coefficients are already known:
- Arsenal (ENG) title holders 55.000
- Barcelona (ESP) 124.000
- OL Lyonnais (FRA) 104.000
- Chelsea (ENG) 93.000
- FC Bayern (GER) 76.000
- Wolfsburg (GER) 69.000
Each team will play two teams from each pot but cannot be drawn against a team from the same association, so Arsenal will not face Chelsea in the League phase.
They will therefore play two from Barcelona, OL Lyonnais, FC Bayern and Wolfsburg.
Pots 2 and 3 will be decided once the qualifying round 3 ties are completed.
