Crystal Palace are in talks over signing Reiss Nelson from Arsenal for £15m, according to a report, with Fulham failing to agree a deal for the winger.

Charlie Wyett reports for The S*n that Crystal Palace are in talks to sign Reiss Nelson for £15m, with links to Fulham appearing to go cold.
With Palace having sold Eberechi Eze to Arsenal, the club are looking to strengthen their attacking options before the transfer deadline, and they’re now understood to be speaking to Nelson’s camp in hopes of reaching an agreement.
Wyett adds that Nelson is looking to leave Arsenal this summer, wanting a permanent new home to get him regular minutes.

Fulham had appeared to be the favourites for Nelson for most of the summer, and Wyett adds that Alex Iwobi had been texting Nelson to come and join the club.
But Ed Aarons reports that Fulham are now looking to sign Samuel Chukwueze from AC Milan and Kevin from Shakhtar Donetsk. Aarons confirms that Palace are in talks over Nelson as a result.
Arsenal likely would have been able to command a larger fee for Nelson if he’d stayed fit on loan with Fulham throughout last season. But the 25-year-old ended up playing just 12 games before two hamstring injuries ruled him out for the remainder of the campaign.

Nelson is fit again right now, playing a part in pre-season, but Arsenal haven’t selected him for either of their matchday squads in the competitive campaign so far.
A transfer appears likely, and there have long been suggestions the player would ideally prefer to stay in London. A move to Crystal Palace could suit everyone.
