The Arsenal u18s made it three wins from three with victory over Birmingham City on Saturday, with summer signing Callan Hamill bagging his first goal for the club.

The Arsenal u18s made a fast start to the season with wins over Norwich City and Southampton, and they were looking to keep the positive momentum going travelling away to Birmingham City for a match on Saturday afternoon.
Summer signing Callan Hamill ensured the match started well, with the former St. Johnstone centre-back heading in a corner by Alex Marciniak.
Marciniak himself then got on the scoresheet minutes later, firing into the top corner with his left foot. Just 11 minutes into the match, Arsenal led 2-0.

The rest of the encounter wasn’t quite so exciting, particularly in the wake of a couple of Arsenal injuries.
Kyran Thompson was forced off in the first half and Josiah King in the second, and King will be particularly disappointed given he’s been called up by the England u17s. With any luck, it’s nothing serious enough to rule him out of the international break.
But Jack Talbot in the Arsenal net ensuring there were no further goals, the match finished 2-0. The Gunners took all three points to go top of the u18 Premier League south.
