Arsenal’s move to sign Will Wright from Salford City isn’t done yet, with a fee agreed but talks ongoing over personal terms, according to a report.

James McNicholas reports for The Athletic that Arsenal are currently undergoing a recruitment drive at academy level. The Gunners have already announced the signing of Demiane Agustien from Derby County, and they’ve agreed a fee with Salford City to sign Will Wright.
Yet McNicholas adds that personal terms have yet to be agreed for Wright, meaning it’s not a done deal yet.

Arsenal hijacked a deal for Wright from Liverpool, with Manchester City also reportedly interested in the teenager.
Just as Liverpool appeared to be closing in on an agreement, the Gunners swooped and agreed a fee of around £200,000 plus add-ons – twice what the Merseyside club were offering.
That was enough to convince Salford City to sell, but Arsenal’s next task is to convince the player himself to sign on the dotted line.

Only recently turning 17, Wright has already made four competitive appearances for League Two Salford City. He’s been heavily involved in senior pre-season this summer, scoring four times in their first three games.
The youngster has primarily been playing youth football up until now, and all reports suggest he’ll initially be linking up with the Arsenal u21s if he signs.
