West Ham United have reportedly added Fabio Vieira to their midfield shortlist, with the club planning multiple signings in the middle this summer.

Ben Jacobs reports that West Ham United have added Fabio Vieira to their list of midfield options for the remainder of the summer transfer window, with the club planning to add multiple midfield signings over the next month or so.
Jacobs adds that West Ham are yet to make an approach to Arsenal, but the player is now a name of interest to the east London club.

Vieira is yet to link up with Arsenal for pre-season, missing out on the trips to Spain, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
The midfielder was never likely to be involved in Spain, as he was still on his mandatory summer holiday following the Club World Cup.
The 25-year-old could hypothetically have joined the Asia tour, but the Mirror reported that he’s been given an extended break after his long season on loan with Porto.

The expectation is that Vieira will join pre-season training when Arsenal return to England later this week, with no word of advanced talks over a summer exit just yet.
But with Arsenal now having Martin Odegaard supported by a couple of top talents in Ethan Nwaneri and Max Dowman, Vieira’s potential minutes in north London this summer appear limited.
Noni Madueke has also joined as an option on the right, so Vieira’s occasional backup role to Bukayo Saka in previous seasons is also unlikely to be repeated.
Vieira had a good season with Porto overall, providing 11 goal contributions in 42 games back on loan with his former team. Though he began the campaign on the right-wing, he ended it more often playing in midfield.
