Real Madrid and Xabi Alonso have opened the door to Rodrygo’s departure, but there’s no obvious buyer for the winger at this stage.

On Monday, Santi Aouna of Foot Mercato reported that despite claims to the contrary, Rodrygo isn’t on the way to join Tottenham Hotspur.
Though Spurs did make an enquiry, the player has no interest in joining them, and he’s aiming for a bigger club. As a result, there are no talks ongoing.
Mario Cortegana confirms for The Athletic that neither Real Madrid’s board nor manager Xabi Alonso will stand in Rodrygo’s way if a fair offer arrives. The problem is it isn’t clear who will be bidding for him.

Cortegana reports that Arsenal have held talks with Rodrygo’s camp, but they primarily wanted to strengthen in other positions, and it would likely take either Gabriel Martinelli or Leandro Trossard’s departure for a deal to have any chance of happening.
PSG have denied having any interest, Liverpool are focusing on Alexander Isak, and Cortegana reiterates that Rodrygo has no interest in joining Spurs.
If there’s a club currently preparing a serious offer for Rodrygo, they’re yet to make themselves known.

If Arsenal do sell Martinelli or Trossard, perhaps this would be a situation to look at again. But again, there’s nothing happening on that front currently.
