Arsenal are on the verge of announcing Christian Norgaard’s signing from Brentford, and the player was snapped at London Colney in a leaked picture.

On Tuesday, David Ornstein confirmed for The Athletic that Arsenal had completed the signing of Christian Norgaard from Brentford, with the Gunners to pay £10m guaranteed with another £2m in potential bonuses.
Ornstein added that the medical and personal terms were both done, with the announcement due at some point this week.
Not long after that, pictures have leaked of Norgaard’s arrival at London Colney, with Twitter user Asad sharing an image of the player alongside Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta.

This transfer hasn’t been a particularly well-kept secret, with Brentford’s director of football Phil Giles recently confirming the two clubs were in negotiations – prior to an agreement being reached.
“We have been in conversations with Arsenal for the last week to 10 days,” Giles said in late June. “As it stands it hasn’t been completed yet but it is heading in that direction.
“If that happens for him then fantastic, he’s earned it. He’s been a brilliant captain for us.
“Let’s see how that story ends but we are pretty open about that interest there.”

Arsenal won’t want to wait much longer before announcing the deal, as Norgaard should be linking up with his new teammates in pre-season training this week.
The team took part in their first session back at the London Colney training centre on Wednesday. Though Arsenal didn’t share any pictures of Norgaard taking part in the session, that doesn’t necessarily mean he wasn’t involved.
The sooner the club make the official announcement, the easier it will be for them to share pictures and videos of the team’s pre-season preparations without worrying about further leaks.
