Cristhian Mosquera’s move to Arsenal is yet to be officially confirmed, with reports indicating complications during the 21-year-old’s medical at the club.

According to Teamnewsandtix, “issues” arose during the medical process, and the complications must be addressed before an official announcement can be made.
Arsenal have agreed a deal with Valencia for the centre-back, with the transfer fee reportedly set at £13m.
Mosquera was expected to be unveiled as Arsenal’s fifth signing of the summer this weekend, joining Noni Madueke, Christian Norgaard, Martin Zubimendi, and Kepa Arrizabalaga in North London.
The 21-year-old left Valencia earlier this week and was seen heading to the airport, where he was set to board a plane to London.
Mosquera has already agreed to a long-term contract at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal/Getty Images inadvertently leaked an image of Mosquera in Gunners’ kit, being interviewed as part of the official signing announcement.

The image was quickly deleted but it is clear the deal is close.
Despite problems with the medical, sources close to the club believe there is no indication that the transfer is at risk of falling through.
