Flamengo are preparing an offer of a loan with an option to buy for injured Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus, according to a report.

Arsenal forward Gabriel Jesus is currently working on making a full recovery from his ACL injury, but football insider HandofArsenal reports that Gunners sporting director Andrea Berta is exploring a potential transfer for the striker.
The report adds that clubs in Brazil have already enquired, as have some European clubs.
Following those claims, Brazilian outlet RTI Esporte have broken the news that Flamengo are one of those clubs in the mix.

RTI Esporte report that Flamengo are advancing on Jesus’ case, preparing an offer of a one-year loan with an option to buy.
The club reportedly initially opened talks with the player himself, and after receiving positive signals they started preparing a proposal for Arsenal. That offer will include an even 50/50 salary split during his loan spell.
For Jesus, a move would give him a platform to play regularly upon his return from injury, with consistent minutes viewed as vital to get on Brazil boss Carlo Ancelotti’s radar ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

Jesus scored seven goals and assisted two in 1,204 minutes of playing time last season, making 13 starts and 14 substitute appearances before his ACL injury.
It seemed likely a summer transfer was off the table in the wake of that injury, but perhaps an initial loan with a purchase clause could be a way to find the player a new club.
