Mikel Arteta was forced to reschedule Arsenal’s first training session in Singapore after thunderstorms made it unsafe to train on Monday morning.
Speaking at his press conference, Arteta said, “With the weather we were unable to train today. We have to adapt to those situations. We are very excited to have a successful tour.”
The Gunners are set to face AC Milan and Newcastle United before flying to Hong Kong to meet Tottenham, and Arteta had planned to get to work immediately.
Instead, training was delayed until later in the day.
Arteta will use the tour to integrate new signings Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard, Kepa Arrizabalaga, and potentially Viktor Gyökeres, with final negotiations ongoing.

Asked about the Swede, Arteta said, “I cannot comment on any player who is not part of our group yet.”
