Arsenal could still sign a left-winger if Leandro Trossard leaves, with strong interest in the player from Saudi Arabia and Turkey, according to reports.

James McNicholas reports for The Athletic that whilst Mikel Arteta values Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard, the situation could change if a sale could unlock a deal for one of Arsenal’s remaining targets.
Gary Jacob and Tom Allnutt report for The Times that Arsenal could still buy a left winger this summer if Trossard leaves, with their targets including Rodrygo and Anthony Gordon. The report adds that the Gunners also retain an interest in Eberechi Eze.

Sami Mokbel of the BBC tells Latte Firm that Eze is probably the more achievable deal, and it’s unlikely both will happen. Mokbel suggests signing two players for the left-hand side would only be possible with Trossard leaving and another big sale.
As for who might sign Trossard, John Cross reports for the Mirror that there’s been strong interest from Saudi Arabia and Turkey in the winger.
Perhaps there might even be renewed interest in Martinelli from Bayern Munich, with Liverpool standing firm against the sale of Luis Diaz and McNicholas reporting for The Athletic that the Brazilian is one of several names Bayern are considering.

Trossard had been in serious contract renewal talks with Arsenal, but multiple reports suggest those talks have somewhat stalled in recent months. If he doesn’t extend, perhaps he’s the more likely candidate for an exit.
