Viktor Gyökeres will request a meeting with Frederico Varandas to confront the Sporting CP president over broken promises relating to his expected departure from the club.

According to Correio da Manhã, Gyökeres believes commitments made to him during previous conversations have not been honoured.
He also wants clarity over the source of what he considers to be false information that has appeared in the media in recent weeks.
The striker is due to return to training next week and plans to raise the issue then. His intention is to leave this summer, and the meeting is expected to increase pressure on Sporting to accept a formal offer.

Arsenal remain the leading candidate to sign the Sweden international but have not yet triggered his €100 million (£84.5 million) release clause with the expectation that Sporting will accept a lower offer.
Gyökeres views the Premier League as the next step in his career and is open to the move, having reportedly agreed terms with Arsenal.
Sporting continue to change their stance on his release clause. Some days they want it to be met, on others they will negotiate depending on where you do your reading.
Gyökeres, who scored 54 goals last season, has not commented publicly, apart from to say he won’t be commenting publicly.
