Rodrygo’s representatives have been in contact with Arsenal to offer the winger’s services, with the Gunners immediately interested, according to a report.

Spanish outlet Cadena SER report that Arsenal are one of two Premier League clubs confirmed to have received information about Real Madrid winger Rodrygo ahead of the summer transfer window.
Rodrygo’s representatives reportedly made contact with the Gunners (not the other way around), offering the player for a potential transfer. But Arsenal were immediately on board, according to the claims.
As for the potential price of a deal, Cadena SER suggest it would be around €80m (£67.4m).

Fellow Spanish outlet AS recently reported that Rodrygo’s situation is “delicate”, particularly with incoming head coach Xabi Alonso reportedly planning to put a lot of faith in Arda Guler.
AS wrote that Arsenal are among the clubs willing to step up the bidding for Rodrygo this summer, but the door isn’t closed to the forward remaining in Madrid.
Rodrygo is yet to make a firm decision, hesitating on what he should do. Though he has “one foot out of Real Madrid”, he’s waiting for a conversation with Alonso to find out what his plans are. After that, he’ll make his decision.

24-year-old has another 23 goals and assists in 50 appearances this season, after racking up 27 goals and assists in 52 games last campaign.
Though he may not be at his best right now, with one goal in all competitions since the start of February, the talent is clearly there. This could be a good time to pounce and get the 24-year-old winger firing again.
