Leicester City have set their price for the potential sale of Bilal El Khannouss, amid recent links with a move to Arsenal.

Sacha Tavolieri reports that Leicester City have set their price for the departure of Morocco international Bilal El Khannouss this summer, with the club set to demand €26m (£22.1m) for the 20-year-old.
The price is not too dissimilar to the fee Leicester signed El Khannouss for in the first place, less than one year ago.
But that was following promotion to the Premier League, and this is after relegation to the Championship. Leicester are in a far weaker negotiating position than KRC Genk were.

Moroccan outlet SOCCER212 reported earlier this month that El Khannouss was in Arsenal’s sights, with the Gunners already opening talks with Leicester.
According to their claims, Mikel Arteta is on board with the signing, and the player is up for the move too.
A transfer probably would have been very unlikely if Leicester had stayed up, but their relegation opens up an opportunity.

El Khannouss has scored three goals and assisted five from midfield in his first season with Leicester, making 34 appearances in all competitions so far.
The player has also continued to play regularly for Morocco in Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers during the current campaign. Morocco topped their qualification group, though they’d already qualified as hosts anyway.
The final tournament will take place in December 2025 to January 2026, so El Khannouss will likely miss part of his first season with whichever club he joins.
