Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain are both in the market for Chelsea’s Andrey Santos this summer, according to a report from France.

Alexis Bernard reports for Le10Sport that Chelsea’s Andrey Santos is drawing the attentions of Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal, who are both battling for his signature this summer.
Bernard claims Arsenal are hard at work trying to sign Santos, though it’s not clear that Chelsea would be willing to sell.
21-year-old Santos has spent the season on loan with Racing Club de Strasbourg in France, which helps to explain the PSG interest. But Bernard claims PSG were after the player even before he joined Chelsea in 2023.

Santos has made 33 appearances for Strasbourg so far this season, scoring 10 goals and assisting a further five in all competitions.
Strasbourg have had a surprisingly strong campaign with the midfielder’s help, sitting sixth in Ligue 1 with one game remaining. They could climb to as high as fourth on the final day, which would be their best top-flight finish since 1979.
Even a sixth-place finish would match their best finish since the 1980s, so it’s been an encouraging season for the team.

Santos operates as a defensive midfielder, so it’s likely that he’d be joining as one of a couple of replacements for Jorginho and Thomas Partey.
Arsenal are already on the verge of signing Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad, but if both Jorginho and Partey leave, the Gunners would probably want another midfielder.
