Arsenal have some reservations about signing Benjamin Sesko despite their long-term interest in the RB Leipzig striker.

James McNicholas reports for The Athletic that Benjamin Sesko is a name Arsenal are strongly considering for a summer move, but there are reservations about his ability to make an instant impact in the Premier League.
McNicholas writes that Arsenal have followed Sesko’s development closely and were interested last year. Even after the striker signed a new deal at RB Leizpig, the Gunners have continued to follow his progress ahead of another potential move for him.
But it seems Sesko isn’t the obvious choice at Arsenal anymore, particularly with Andrea Berta proving such a fan of Viktor Gyokeres.

In January, it seemed Arsenal not signing Sesko was more RB Leipzig’s decision than anything else.
Sami Mokbel reported that Arsenal explored a move and were prepared to make a bid if there was any chance of success, but Leipzig informed the Gunners that they weren’t willing to sell in January.
At the time, Sesko appeared to be Arsenal’s best chance of a summer centre-forward signing, when a new release clause will become active in his contract. But the first signs that June might be too late are starting to emerge.

Fans shouldn’t write off a Sesko deal entirely. Even if Isak or Gyokeres become the summer priority, both have interest from elsewhere, and Arsenal could end up missing out on the duo and turning back to Sesko. But it’s no longer a sure thing.
Sesko has scored 17 goals and assisted six in 37 games for Leipzig this season.
