Bukayo Saka has agreed a new contract with Arsenal, according to rumours on social media on Monday morning.

Football insiders Sam C and Team News and Ticks report that they understand Bukayo Saka has agreed his new contract with Arsenal.
Player and club still need to complete the official paperwork and make the public announcement, but the report suggests the 23-year-old will be sticking around.
The news would be a huge boost for the club at a pivotal moment, with a Champions League semi-final tie coming up over the next week.

Saka’s current contract doesn’t expire until June 2027, so there was still quite a bit of time for Arsenal to complete negotiations over a new deal. But if they’ve managed to reach an agreement already, that would help to keep this summer’s focus on new signings.
It was no secret that Arsenal were entering contract talks with Saka this month, with Fabrizio Romano reporting in late March that conversations were planned as soon as the winger returned from injury.
New sporting director Andrea Berta is in charge of the negotiation process, so it would be a big early win for him if he manages to extend the contract of one of Arsenal’s most important players.

“For me, I want to win, and I want to win wearing this badge,” Saka said of his contract situation earlier this month. “So I think it’s pretty clear. The fans know how much I love them and you saw when I came on, on Tuesday, I think they love me back.
“It’s a good relationship and I’m really happy to be here and I’m just focused on winning here.”
Saka has scored 11 goals and assisted a further 14 for Arsenal this season, despite spending over three months on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.
