Real Madrid have to overturn a 3-0 deficit in the Champions League quarter-final second leg against Arsenal next week, and they have three new availability concerns for the fixture.

Arsenal had a fantastic night in the Champions League quarter-final first leg on Tuesday, putting in a dominant performance and coming away with a 3-0 win over Real Madrid.
There were a couple of shaky moments in the first half, and one chance that Kylian Mbappe probably should have scored, but once Arsenal took the lead there was only one winner.
Things only got worse for Real Madrid as the game went on, with Eduardo Camavinga picking up a yellow card that would have seen him suspended for the second leg. Except he was subsequently sent off and will now serve a red-card ban instead.

On top of Camavinga’s confirmed absence, Carlo Ancelotti is also sweating on the fitness of Tuesday’s full-backs Federico Valverde and David Alaba.
The Athletic report that Real Madrid have confirmed both players were suffering from discomfort at the end of the match at the Emirates Stadium.
Neither are believed to have suffered serious injuries, but they’ll undergo further tests to assess their availability for the upcoming games.

On the upside for Real Madrid, Aurelien Tchouameni will be back from his one-game suspension, and the expectation is that former Gunner Dani Ceballos and Ferland Mendy should both be fit as well.
Ceballos and Mendy were initially targeting returns in the first leg, but both of them failed to make it back in time. They now have another week to get healthy for the return fixture.
All in all, Arsenal are likely to face a tougher side than the one that visited the Emirates, with the exception of Camavinga. This tie isn’t done yet.
