Barcelona took on Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey final on Saturday, with the game taking place at a neutral venue, Sevilla’s Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium.

Fans on both sides showed up in their team’s colours, but some Barcelona supporters also took the opportunity to mock the opposing fans with an Arsenal flag.

Arsenal recently eliminated Real Madrid from the Champions League with a 5-1 aggregate scoreline, an event the Barcelona fans clearly enjoyed.

That wasn’t the only reminder of Real Madrid’s Champions League defeat during the game.

Jules Kounde ended up scoring the winning goal for Barcelona, and as shown above, he celebrated with an apparent imitation of Bukayo Saka’s signature celebration.

It was the same celebration the Arsenal winger recently performed at the Santiago Bernabeu.

There was one more Arsenal connection on the pitch, with Wojciech Szczesny playing in goal for Barcelona and making a couple of key saves in his team’s 3-2 win.

Things are all very friendly between the two clubs right now, but that might not last if they both make it to the Champions League final.

We’re still a long way away from that outcome, with Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan very strong contenders in their own rights. The first legs of both semi-finals take place in the coming midweek.
