Nicolas Jover and Albert Stuivenberg are among five key Arsenal members of staff to agree new contracts with the club, extending their stays to 2027.

Simon Collings reports for The Standard that five members of Mikel Arteta’s backroom team have extended their contracts with the club.
The quintet includes assistant managers Albert Stuivenberg and Carlos Cuesta, first-team coach Miguel Molina, goalkeeping coach Inaki Cana, and set-piece coach Nicolas Jover.
Arteta signed a new deal with Arsenal last September, extending until 2027, and Collings reports that his team of assistants have now done the same. Their contracts were due to expire at the end of the current campaign.

It’s hard to argue against the benefits of any of the extensions. With Arsenal consistently performing at a high level for the past few seasons, Arteta will be keen to keep his team of assistants who have helped make that possible.
Then goalkeeping coach Cana has helped David Raya to become one of the best keepers in the Premier League, and Jover has certainly made a name for himself with all of Arsenal’s set-piece goals this season.
The Gunners are also statistically one of the best teams in the league on defensive set-pieces, conceding very few shots from corners, so the club can have no complaints about Jover’s recent work.

Arsenal have a lot of business to do over the coming months, with a big summer of transfers expected and multiple player contracts in need of renegotiation. Having the contracts of Arteta and his team all sorted in advance certainly helps on that front.
