Alessia Russo continues to shine for Arsenal, claiming her third Player of the Month title this season after a series of standout performances in March.

Alessia Russo has been named the Arsenal Women’s Player of the Month for March, securing 49% of the vote, her third such accolade this season after wins in December and February as she continues her resurgence under Renee Slegers.
As Arsenal’s leading scorer, she continued her prolific form in March, netting five goals and reaching a season total of 18 across all competitions.

Highlights of her month include a brace against Everton in a 3-1 WSL away win and a league goal against Crystal Palace.
However, her most decisive contribution came in European competition: facing a 2-0 aggregate deficit against Real Madrid in the UEFA Women’s Champions League, Russo scored twice in 12 minutes in the home leg, orchestrating a comeback that propelled Arsenal into the semi-finals.
Her performances underlined her pivotal role in both domestic and European campaigns
