Arsenal have held concrete talks with Joshua Kimmich over a summer transfer as a possible replacement for Jorginho, according to a report.

Sky Sport Germany reporters Florian Plettenberg and Torben Hoffmann report that Arsenal have intensified their efforts to sign Joshua Kimmich in recent days, holding concrete talks over the transfer.
The report claims Arsenal want Kimmich on a free transfer as a replacement for Jorginho, whose contract expires at the end of the season.
Kimmich has received two official offers for a transfer, with other clubs expressing their interest verbally. He considers the offers “interesting” and is at least thinking about them both, hesitating on a new Bayern deal.

Bayern were offering a new deal to 2028, and Sky claim he could still sign it.
Yet the Bundesliga club are unhappy that he hasn’t already accepted, and he’s let several decision deadlines pass. They have no plans to make another improved offer. Some are even reporting that the offer is now off the table.
As well as Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain have a strong interest in Kimmich and were already in talks over a move for him last summer. Kimmich declined at the time.

Kimmich has played 36 times for Bayern this season, scoring once and assisting 10 goals in all competitions from his position as a defensive midfielder.
The 30-year-old is also a regular for Germany, captaining the side over the recent international breaks.
