David Raya has been nominated for Premier League Save of the Month for February, joining five other candidates for the award.

Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya has received a nomination for the Premier League’s Save of the Month award for February, after his stop against Manchester City.
Raya kept out a close range header from Josko Gvardiol after a corner, pushing the attempt up and onto the crossbar. The stop required excellent reflexes as well as a strong arm to keep the ball out.
You can vote for Raya’s stop here, with the voting deadline at 12:00 GMT on Monday, March 10th.

Raya has been nominated alongside Matz Sels (Nottingham Forest, save vs Brighton), Alisson (Liverpool, save vs Bournemouth), Alphonse Areola (West Ham, save vs Chelsea), Aaron Ramsdale (Southampton, save vs Bournemouth), and Kepa Arrizabalaga (Bournemouth, save vs Wolves).
Raya already won the award back in August for his fantastic reaction stop against Aston Villa.
Ollie Watkins thought he’d scored with a diving header from close range with Raya grounded, but the Spanish goalkeeper sprung up to keep the attempt out.

Raya has kept 15 clean sheets for Arsenal this season in all competitions, including reaching double figures in the Premier League with 10.
Only Sels has more in the league (11), though Liverpool’s Alisson is fast gaining, reaching nine despite having played seven games fewer.
Raya will get another extra game on Alisson before the end of the season though, as Liverpool have played one more, so the Golden Glove race is definitely alive.
