Jorginho is set to leave Arsenal this summer, with Flamengo apparently closing in on a three-year deal.
Despite interest from Juventus, the Brazilian club expects a pre-contract soon.

Jorginho is expected to leave Arsenal at the end of the season, with reports in Brazil indicating that a move to Flamengo is now in its final stages.
The 33-year-old midfielder, who joined Arsenal from Chelsea in January 2023 for €11.3 million, has been a useful squad player under Mikel Arteta, featuring in 75 matches since his arrival and accumulating 3,870 minutes across all competitions.
However, with Arsenal planning a midfield overhaul this summer, the club is unlikely to trigger its one-year contract extension option, allowing him to leave as a free agent.

Brazilian journalist Venê Casagrande reports that Flamengo have made significant progress in their pursuit of Jorginho, despite earlier claims that “family pressure” could prevent him from moving to Brazil.
While Juventus were also expected to make an offer, Flamengo have reportedly pushed ahead in negotiations.
Casagrande states that “everything is agreed” between Jorginho and Flamengo for a three-year contract, with the Brazilian club expecting him to sign a pre-contract this week.
The experienced midfielder’s departure will mark another step in Arsenal’s midfield restructuring, with the club already targeting long-term replacements to reinforce their squad ahead of the 2025/26 season.
