Work has begun on a documentary focused on Arsenal’s 2003/04 title-winning ‘Invincibles’ season, according to a report.

Mike McGrath reports for The Telegraph that Amazon have started work on a documentary to chronicle the Arsenal ‘Invincibles’ season.
Such a documentary was proposed long ago, but without any agreement. McGrath claims sources have now revealed that production is underway.

Mike Keegan reported for the Daily Mail in January that the Invincibles were close to agreeing a deal for a documentary after a long period of negotiation.
Keegan added that an announcement would be made in the near future, so with work now underway you’d think that could be imminent.
The report added that one of the issues has been getting all of the group on board. It was also unclear whether Arsenal themselves would have any input in the project.

The Invincibles won the 2003/04 Premier League title without losing a single league game for the entire season. It was a unique feat in the Premier League era, and one that hasn’t been repeated since, despite excellent recent campaigns from the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool.
Every other Premier League side has lost at least once in every season since the competition’s inception, but not Arsenal in 2003/04.
