England boss Thomas Tuchel and his staff have been closely monitoring Myles Lewis-Skelly, and they’ve started internal discussions about a potential March call-up.

Fabrizio Romano reports that Thomas Tuchel and his staff are closely monitoring Myles Lewis-Skelly’s impressive development at Arsenal under Mikel Arteta this season.
Romano adds that internal discussions have started about a potential call-up to the senior England squad for the upcoming international break in March.
The report follows John Cross’ initial claim for the Mirror that Lewis-Skelly is on England’s radar for a potential senior call-up.

Left-back is reportedly an area Tuchel is keen to solve ahead of next month’s World Cup qualifiers, and on current form, Lewis-Skelly will be in his mind.
Whilst Gareth Southgate tended to stick to a more cautious promotion pathway with his youth players, Tuchel’s 18-month contract will likely push him to be more proactive.
So even though Lewis-Skelly hasn’t played for the England u21s yet, and Tuchel has some reservations about his age and inexperience, a senior call-up hasn’t been ruled out.

Lewis-Skelly has made 20 appearances for the Arsenal first team this season, with 12 of those coming in the starting lineup.
The teenager particularly impressed against reigning Premier League champions Manchester City last weekend, with a near-faultless performance capped by his first senior goal. Even in Arsenal’s disappointing midweek to Newcastle United, he was a bright spark.
If he can keep up those kinds of displays for the next month or so, Tuchel will definitely have a decision to make.
