Arsenal have formally expressed an interest in signing Olympiacos duo Charalampos Kostoulas and Christos Mouzakitis, according to a report.

Charlie Haffenden reports for Birmingham World that both Arsenal and Aston Villa have made formal contact with Olympiacos over potential moves for Charalampos Kostoulas and Christos Mouzakitis.
Manchester United and Brentford have also sent scouts to watch the two players this season, but it seems the Gunners and Villa are the two Premier League clubs at the forefront of the conversations right now.

The report follows a December claim from Tutto Juve that Arsenal were leading the race for the two players, with Juventus also monitoring their progress.
The signings have got a little more complicated since then, with both players extending their deals. Kostoulas now has a contract until 2030, and Mouzakitis has extended to 2029.
The pair have broken into Olympiacos’ first team this season, and they’ve been rewarded with those new contracts.

Kostoulas can play in multiple attacking roles, including centre-forward, right-wing, and attacking midfield. The 17-year-old has five goals and a couple of assists in his 29 appearances (17 starts) for Olympiacos this season.
18-year-old Mouzakitis plays in midfield, and he’s made 25 appearances (20 starts), bagging a couple of goals and a couple of assists.
Olympiacos are top of the Greek Super League, with both players playing a big part in the title chase despite starting the season as a pair of 17-year-olds waiting on their debuts. It’s little wonder clubs are taking interest from around Europe.
