Arsenal target joins Havertz’s agency as he eyes summer move

Borussia Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi has linked up with the agency of Arsenal striker Kai Havertz, with the Gunners reportedly interested in a summer move.

German outlet Bild (via Sport Witness) report that both Arsenal and Chelsea are keeping an eye on Borussia Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi ahead of the summer transfer window.

Adeyemi has reportedly left his previous agency, Epic Sports Group, and joined up with Roof, who also manage Arsenal’s Kai Havertz.

The report suggests Adeyemi is looking to change clubs in the summer, with Arsenal and Chelsea joined by Serie A club Napoli in the race. But the two Premier League clubs have been following the winger for a long time now, so they may have the strongest interest.

Adeyemi has scored five goals and assisted six for Dortmund this season, despite missing over two months of the campaign with a muscle injury.

The winger returned to action in December, and he’s yet to score or assist in the Bundesliga since his setback, but he did grab an assist in Dortmund’s final Champions League League Phase game against Shakhtar Donetsk a fortnight ago.

But with his limited minutes, it’s hard to read too much into the 23-year-old’s recent goal drought. On average, he’s scoring or assisting every 82 minutes across the season so far.

Perhaps part of what might push Adeyemi to leave Dortmund is the hope that he might find a more consistent run of games somewhere else. And on the other side, the buying club will want to believe that when he gets that run, he can deliver just as many goals per minute.
