Arsenal made a deadline-day enquiry for Stoke City youngster Jaden Dixon, and their interest in the teenager remains ahead of the summer window.

Pete O’Rourke reports for Football Insider that Arsenal made an enquiry for Stoke City defender Jaden Dixon on transfer deadline day earlier this month, and the Gunners are continuing to monitor the 17-year-old.
Arsenal made their interest known at the end of the January transfer window, seemingly hoping to bring in Dixon as a replacement for Manchester United-bound Ayden Heaven.
Though it didn’t work out at the time, Arsenal could make another move for Dixon in the coming windows.

Dixon has been making his breakthrough with the Stoke City first team this season, making two Championship appearances as a substitute and playing every minute of Stoke’s four League Cup ties before their elimination against Southampton.
That run included clean sheets against Carlisle United and Middlesbrough, and Stoke only conceded their first goal of the competition in the 91st minute of their third-round game against Fleetwood Town.

Dixon has returned to the Stoke u21s since then, with Stoke not really in a position to give him development minutes. The former Premier League club are 19th in the Championship and just three points clear of the relegation zone.
