Arsenal academy winger Ismeal Kabia is set to remain at the club for the rest of the season, despite interest from various clubs in a loan move.

With little going on in terms of incomings, Arsenal’s transfer deadline day has largely focused on finding loans for some of their youth players.
James McNicholas reported for The Athletic on Monday morning that Ismeal Kabia could be granted a loan move, but it seems that opportunity has now passed.
Isaan Khan writes for the Daily Mail that Kabia will be staying at Arsenal, despite the club initially looking to loan him out.

Kabia reportedly had interest from various clubs, including Championship side Portsmouth. But that move is seemingly no longer on the cards.
The 19-year-old has made 16 appearances for the Arsenal u21s and u19s this season, scoring two goals and assisting a further six. The speedy winger even got the chance to make his first-team debut in September, playing nine minutes against Bolton Wanderers.
Most recently, Kabia set up Arsenal’s opening goal in their Premier League 2 win over Nottingham Forest, having made Mikel Arteta’s squad for the Champions League clash against GNK Dinamo two days earlier.

If there’s no loan move for Kabia this month, he’ll likely remain with the u21s, stepping up to the first-team squad when the opportunity presents itself.
