Former Gunner Willian is set to return to the Premier League with another one of his old clubs in Fulham, according to a report.

Though the January transfer window has closed, Fulham are lining up the late signing of ex-Arsenal winger Willian.
Sami Mokbel reports that the winger is on the verge of completing a surprise return to Fulham on a deal that will last until the end of the season. The player has been holding his medical today, and the move should be sealed by tomorrow.
As Willian is currently a free agent, it doesn’t matter that the transfer window has closed.

Willian left Fulham for Olympiacos on a free transfer last summer, but after just 11 appearances, they released him at the start of last month.
Should Willian complete his Fulham return, it will be his fifth consecutive free transfer, going from Chelsea to Arsenal to Corinthians to Fulham to Olympiacos and back to Fulham without any of the clubs involved receiving a transfer fee.
Arsenal will be keeping an eye on developments with their former player, as they still have to host Fulham at the Emirates Stadium in April.
The Gunners also have Reiss Nelson on loan with the Cottagers, so the addition of another winger doesn’t necessarily spell good things for their loanee’s minutes.

Willian made 37 appearances for Arsenal, scoring one goal and assisting seven. He spent the majority of his career in London with Chelsea, for whom he played 339 times.
