The Champions League draw for the remainder of the competition took place on Friday morning, with Arsenal learning their Champions League opponents for the round-of-16 and their potential route through the remainder of the competition.

In the round-of-16, Arsenal were certain to play either Feyenoord or PSV Eindhoven, following their respective victories over AC Milan and Juventus in the play-off round.

The Gunners drew PSV Eindoven. The first leg will be away in the Netherlands, with the second at home at the Emirates Stadium the following week.

If Arsenal can reach the quarter-final stage, they’ll face either Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid, depending on which team wins their round-of-16 match.

The Gunners would then play one of Club Brugge, Aston Villa, PSG, or Liverpool in the semi-finals.

Every other team remaining in the competition are on the other side of the draw, so Arsenal can’t face the likes of Bayern Munich and Barcelona until the final.

Mikel Arteta’s side were also always guaranteed to be on the opposite side of the bracket to Inter Milan, as is the case with each League Phase pairing (1st-2nd, 3rd-4th, 5th-6th, etc.). So there will be no rematch at the San Siro this season.
