Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport reported on Saturday that Hakan Calhanoglu has fully recovered from his injury, and he’s back in training with Inter Milan.

The player is reportedly set to be on the bench against Venezia on Sunday, but he’s expected to return to the starting lineup against Arsenal in midweek.

As well as Arsenal, Inter fans will also be pleased to hear that the player should be available for a big Serie A clash against Napoli next weekend.

Calhanoglu had been a regular for Inter at the start of the new campaign, starting nine of their first 10 matches in all competitions.

That run ended early in Inter’s match away to AS Roma, with the 30-year-old forced out of the game with an adductor injury after just 12 minutes.

Calhanoglu then missed Inter’s 1-0 win over Young Boys, their 4-4 draw with Juventus, and their 3-0 win over Empoli. The team evidently haven’t struggled in his absence, but they’ll still be pleased to have him back.

Inter and Calhanoglu have already faced one Premier League opponent this season, kicking off the Champions League group stage with a draw away to Manchester City.

Now playing at home against Arsenal, they’ll want another good result on Wednesday.
