Arsenal have received a nomination for Premier League Goal of the Month in October, though one goal against the Gunners has also been nominated.
The Premier League have announced their nominees for October’s Goal of the Month award, and Bukayo Saka is on the shortlist for his excellent goal against Liverpool.
Racing onto a long ball, Saka cleverly spun behind Andy Robertson, leaving the left-back on the floor. The winger then fired into the net at the near post, leaving Caoimhin Kelleher with no chance.

Also up for the award is Leicester’s Facundo Buonanotte for his goal against Bournemouth, Fulham’s Andreas Pereira for his finish against Manchester City, and Jeremy Doku for his goal for City in the same game.
City have two nominees, with Josko Gvardiol also nominated for his goal against Wolves, whilst Chelsea and Manchester United have nominees in Nicolas Jackson (against Newcastle) and Alejandro Garnacho (against Brentford).
The final nominee will give some Arsenal fans uncomfortable flashbacks, as it’s Ryan Christie’s goal for Bournemouth against the Gunners.
