Arsenal‘s need for attacking reinforcements has intensified with Eddie Nketiah‘s impending move to Marseille, and they have reportedly now set their sights on JuventusFederico Chiesa.

The Gunners are rumoured to be in talks with the Italian player’s agent about a move for the versatile 26-year-old winger, who has caught the eye of several Premier League clubs.

Chiesa, known for his pace, dribbling skills, and finishing ability, could provide a significant boost to Arsenal‘s attack. His versatility allows him to play on either wing or as a second striker, offering tactical flexibility to manager Mikel Arteta.

The Italian international has been linked with a move to England for some time, particularly after his impressive performances during Italy’s Euro 2020 triumph. However, an ACL tear in 2022 sidelined him for seven months, hindering his development into one of Europe’s top forwards.

Despite this setback, Chiesa’s talent and potential remain undeniable. With his contract at Juventus set to expire next summer, the Bianconeri are reportedly open to selling him abroad for a fee in the region of €40-50 million. This fits with Arsenal‘s reported budget for a new forward, making Chiesa a viable target.

While no formal offer has been submitted yet, talks between Arsenal and the player’s agent are reportedly progressing. The Gunners are not alone in their pursuit of Chiesa, with Roma also expressing interest. However, Arsenal‘s need for a proven goalscorer and Chiesa’s desire for a fresh challenge could tip the scales in their favour.

Chiesa’s potential arrival at the Emirates Stadium would significantly strengthen Arsenal‘s attacking options. His directness, creativity, and goal-scoring threat would complement the existing talents of Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, and Leandro Trossard, providing Arteta with a wealth of attacking options.

However, Arsenal are also exploring other avenues to strengthen their attack. Nico Williams from Athletic Bilbao, Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting CP, and Victor Osimhen from Napoli are all reportedly on their radar. Each player offers unique qualities, but Chiesa’s versatility and proven track record in Serie A make him a compelling option.

In the last 24 hours, Brighton’s Joao Pedro has also been added the list of players Arsenal are supposed to be interested in.
