The couple, who have been together since 2018 and grew up in the same neighbourhood, shared their joy on Instagram with stunning photos and the caption “18.07.24 – forever.” Havertz proposed to Weber last year following his high-profile £65 million transfer to Arsenal.

The wedding marks a joyous occasion for Havertz, who experienced a rollercoaster first season with the Gunners. Despite initial criticism and a slow start, the 25-year-old ultimately proved his worth, becoming a key player for Mikel Arteta‘s side and netting 14 goals in 51 appearances across all competitions.

Havertz recently represented Germany in Euro 2024, showcasing his impressive late-season form for Arsenal. However, the tournament ended in disappointment for Germany as they were eliminated by eventual winners Spain. The wedding provided a welcome respite and celebration for the midfielder before the new season kicks off.

Havertz is now expected to return to Arsenal for pre-season training, where he will join his teammates for their tour of the United States. The Gunners will face Premier League rivals Manchester United and Liverpool, as well as Havertz’s former club Bayer Leverkusen, when they return from the States.

This pre-season tour will be crucial for Arsenal, as manager Mikel Arteta aims to build on last season’s success and push for the Premier League title. With Havertz now settled both personally and professionally, the club is hopeful he will continue to play a pivotal role in their quest for silverware.
