Fulham are expected to formalise their interest in Emile Smith Rowe soon, with the player currently open to all options, according to a report.
Dharmesh Sheth reports for Sky Sports that Fulham are among a number of Premier League clubs with a strong interest in Emile Smith Rowe, and they’re expected to formalise their interest soon to try and ward off the competition.
Sheth adds that Smith Rowe wants to assess all his options this summer, prioritising regular football.
This follows an update from journalist Alan Nixon that Fulham were set to make new offers to both Arsenal and Smith Rowe for his signing.
Nixon has suggested that the primary issue is convincing Smith Rowe himself, with the player still keen to make it at Arsenal. Fulham will try to offer more money and change his mind, but it’s not clear whether that will work.
According to his previous reports, Arsenal want at least £25m for the signing, and Crystal Palace are also in the mix.
Smith Rowe has been in training with a few other Arsenal players and Mikel Arteta in Marbella, in a sort of unofficial early pre-season.
The 23-year-old reportedly arrived early for the mini training camp, clearly keen to be prepared for the new campaign. Smith Rowe made 19 appearances for Arsenal in 2023/24.
Pre-season will formally get underway at the start of next week, before the trip to the United States on July 21st.
