Cliftonville FC’s academy social media account has confirmed that Coran Madden will spend this week on trial with Arsenal.

Simon Collings writes for The Standard that Madden has already had trials at Manchester City and Manchester United, and he’s considered one of the brightest prospects in Northern Ireland.

Madden is a Northern Ireland u15 international, and he appears to be on the radar of most of the top Premier League clubs.

Speaking after one of Madden’s previous trials, Cliftonville head of youth Marc Smyth said: “Coran is a fantastic young kid with a brilliant family behind him.

“He has always remained level-headed and he has been enjoying the experience with these massive clubs.

“A lot of things can happen between now and February 2025, when he turns 16. We just want to continue Coran’s development.”

Madden scored and assisted in a game for the Manchester United u16s during his trial with them, and he’ll hope to make just as positive an impression at Arsenal.

The 15-year-old is one of a couple of UK teenagers to have a trial with Arsenal this month, with St. Johnstone’s Callan Hamill playing in a youth friendly and visiting the Emirates Stadium last week.
