Arsenal have spent time scouting Croatian youth duo Niko Tomasevic and Lovro Chelfi of NK Kustosija, according to a report.
Stjepan Mati reports for Croatian outlet IndexHR that Arsenal are among the clubs tracking NK Kustosija’s Niko Tomasevic and Lovro Chelfi, who could both be on the move in the near future.
Arsenal aren’t the only club in the mix, with Borussia Dortmund, Valencia, Lille, and Aston Villa all reportedly watching the two players as well.
All five clubs have had Tomasevic and Chelfi on their radars for a while, and they sent scouts to Saturday’s u19 match against Hajduk Split.
Tomasevic is 16 and an attacking midfielder, whilst Chelfi is 17 and can play behind the striker or on the wing.
Kustosija want around €2m for each of the two teenagers, who joined the club from Croatian league champions GNK Dinamo Zagreb earlier this year.
As well as playing for Kustosija, Chelfi has represented the Croatia u15s on a number of occasions, scoring two goals in six games.
Arsenal would presumably have difficulties signing either player immediately, as they’re under the age of 18 and currently living in a foreign country. But they’re evidently keeping an eye on the Croatian duo.
