The shortlist for the award features eight players who were aged 23 or under at the start of the season.

Saka and Saliba face competition from some of the league’s biggest names, and a Spurs player, including Manchester City‘s Erling Haaland (last year’s winner) and Phil Foden, Newcastle‘s Alexander Isak, Chelsea‘s Cole Palmer, Manchester United‘s Kobbie Mainoo, and Tottenham‘s Destiny Udogie.

Fans can vote for their choice for the award until midday on Monday, May 13th. Their votes will be combined with those of a panel of football experts to determine the winner, who will be announced on Saturday, May 18th.

This nomination is a testament to the significant contributions of both Bukayo Saka and William Saliba to Arsenal’s title push. Their performances have been crucial in keeping the Gunners in contention for their first Premier League title in nearly two decades.
