Bukayo Saka insists Arsenal aren’t frustrated by their wait for Manchester City to drop points, and they’re ready to push until the end.

In spite of Arsenal’s excellent run of form in 2024, the Premier League title race remains out of their hands due to Manchester City’s going on a similarly strong run.

Arsenal have won 14 games, drawn one, and lost one in the Premier League in 2024, whilst City have won 13, drawn three, and lost none.

With City having just three games left to play, Arsenal need their title rivals to drop points to have a chance of winning the league. The Gunners also need to win their remaining games against Manchester United at Old Trafford and Everton at home.

Since the end of March, City haven’t slipped up once, but Bukayo Saka is staying patient.

“You can see it in two ways,” Saka said of the race with Manchester City. “You can either view it as frustrating or as a beautiful challenge.

“Everybody knows [City] are one of the best teams in the world, they have been on the top for the past five years, challenging for everything.

“So, for ourselves to be up there competing with them is good. We are pushing them the whole way and let’s see what happens.

“But we’re not getting frustrated, we see it as a challenge that we want to fight until the end. They have set a standard and it’s up to the rest of us to try to be better than them.”

City have the chance to reclaim top spot in the league with a win over Fulham on Saturday, putting pressure on Arsenal to go to Old Trafford and win too.

If City win at the weekend and Arsenal don’t, the title race could be over at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Tuesday.

Saka and the team need to back his words up by proving they can take this title race down to the very final day. If they do, you never know what might happen on May 19th.
