The Premier League have confirmed that the summer transfer window will open on Friday, June 14th, and close at 23:00 BST on Friday, August 30th. In total, the summer window will be open for 11 weeks.

The first day of the summer transfer window happens to coincide with the first day of the 2024 European Championships, so that could end up being a very busy Friday.

As for the winter transfer window, the window opens on Wednesday, January 1st 2025, closing on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 23:00 BST.

The Premier League go on to confirm that the other big-five European leagues will close their transfer windows on the same day, with the Bundesliga, Serie A, La Liga, and Ligue 1 all agreeing to August 30th and February 3rd.

The EFL will also close their transfer window on the same days, so any loans or sales to lower league sides will have to be finalised by the same day that the Premier League window shuts.

The 2024/25 Premier League season kicks off on August 17th, so the season will start a couple of weeks before the summer window closes.

Arsenal will also be in the Community Shield on August 10th if they win the league this weekend, or if Manchester City win the FA Cup next week.

The Premier League previously confirmed that the fixture list for the 2024/25 campaign will be released on Tuesday, June 18th at 09:00 BST. It will be interesting to see which league matches end up before the deadline.
