Arsenal have announced that Emirates Stadium will host 11 Arsenal Women’s matches in the 2024/25 season, making it the main home for the team.

The move is a significant step in the club’s commitment to the women’s game and comes after a season of record-breaking attendance figures at the Emirates.

The plan is for the team to play eight Barclays Women’s Super League (WSL) matches and three UEFA Women’s Champions League (UWCL) fixtures at the stadium, should they qualify for the group stages. Further progression in the UWCL would also see all home legs of the knockout rounds held at Emirates Stadium.

Remaining matches, including domestic cup fixtures, will be played at Mangata Pay UK Stadium (Meadow Park, Borehamwood), which also serves as the home ground for Arsenal’s U21 men’s team.

Record-breaking support

This decision comes on the heels of a season marked by exceptional fan support for Arsenal Women, both at home and away. Six WSL matches held at Emirates Stadium this season saw an average attendance of 52,029, including two sell-outs and three WSL attendance records. Across both home venues, the average crowd for the 2023/24 season was 32,618, with every fixture at Mangata Pay UK Stadium selling out.
