Tottenham Hotspur will welcome back two potential starters against Arsenal, with Richarlison and Pedro Porro overcoming recent injury setbacks.

Arsenal travel the short distance to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday, and they do so with an almost fully-fit squad.

Only Jurrien Timber is likely to be absent for the Spurs clash, and even he faces a late fitness test and could possibly be available.

But Spurs have also had some good news on the injury front, with Richarlison and Pedro Porro both passed fit by manager Ange Postecoglou.

“Yeah, Pedro and Richy trained well this week, and both [are] available,” Postecoglou said on Spurs’ official social media channels.

The news was less positive for Destiny Udogie, after he was ruled out last weekend.

Udogie posted on Instagram on Saturday evening that an injury had brought his season to an early end, and Spurs reported that the player underwent surgery to his left quadriceps, after picking up an injury in training.

Ben Davies is likely to start against Arsenal in Udogie’s absence.

Oliver Skipp is also an absentee, with Postecoglou confirming that the midfielder “has a knock as well, and will miss the weekend”.

On Spurs’ longer-term absentees, Fraser Forster, Ryan Sessegnon, and Manor Solomon all remain out and won’t feature against Arsenal.

But from that injury list, arguably only Udogie is a starter for Spurs. The rest of the team should be pretty close to full strength.

It looks like neither side will have many excuses on the injury front this weekend.
