Kai Havertz exacted sweet revenge on his former club Chelsea with a superb brace in Arsenal‘s 5-0 thrashing on Tuesday night.

However, the drama wasn’t contained to the pitch – Chelsea’s official Twitter account seemed to suffer selective amnesia when it came to crediting the German star for his goals.

£60 million down the drain? Kai Havertz scores again. And again.

Kai Havertz did not enjoy the best time with Chelsea to the point their fans mocked Arsenal paying over £60m to bring him across London.

As the forward scored Arsenal‘s third and fourth goals of the night against his former side, whoever was running their official Twitter account didn’t seem to be laughing too much.

Netting his 11th and 12th goals of the season, taking him to seven goals in his last 10 Premier League games (with four assists), the Arsenal man enjoyed every second of his minutes against Chelsea. Unlike many who opt to restrain their celebrations when they score against their former sides, Havertz flew into a knee-slide, soaking up every second of the glory.

Meanwhile, over at Chelsea’s HQ, they couldn’t quite believe what they were watching.

In fact, they were so traumatised by what Arsenal were doing to them, they completely forgot Kai Havertz’s name.

While their admin seemed to know who scored Arsenal’s second and fifth, for some reason, they seemed stumped for the third and fourth.

What makes this even more petty from Chelsea is that Kai Havertz scored their Champions League winning goal.

How completely classless.
