Viktor Gyokeres, the 24-year-old Swedish striker, continues to be named as a potential target for two of England’s biggest clubs, Arsenal and Chelsea, according to reports.

Gyokeres has been lighting up Portugal’s Liga NOS with Sporting Lisbon this season, racking up an impressive 33 goals and 13 assists in all competitions.

While Gyokeres boasts a prolific goalscoring record, some Premier League scouts might raise an eyebrow at his lack of experience in a major European league. However, his talent and versatility are undeniable, having demonstrated his ability to play as a central striker, a second striker, and even out wide on the wing.

With a €100 million release clause attached to his contract, any potential move for Gyokeres would be a significant investment. However, considering the cutthroat competition in the Premier League, both Arsenal and Chelsea might be willing to take a gamble on the young Swedish striker, hoping he can replicate his Portuguese form on the biggest stage.
