Arsenal made no mistake on the south coast as they dispatched Brighton 3-0 to retake top spot in the Premier League and one photographer managed to capture the entire game in a single shot.
Created by Jorginho, Kai Havertz slotted home Arsenal’s second of the game to give the Gunners’ the margin their play deserved.
In truth, the game should have been out of sight for Arsenal long before Havertz netted his 10th of the season, but wayward finishing had made things more concerning than they needed to be.
As Havertz and Jorginho celebrated, the entire Brighton defence was left on their bums as Tariq Lamptey looked on in shock and Declan Rice laughed in the background.

Arteta praises Arsenal’s fighting spirit
Mikel Arteta praised his Arsenal side’s discipline, resilience, and attacking threat following their commanding 3-0 victory over a stubborn Brighton team. Bukayo Saka‘s penalty and goals from Kai Havertz and Leandro Trossard secured a crucial win that extended their remarkable run of form.
“I’m really happy,” Arteta said. “They haven’t lost here since August, so that tells you how strong they are and how good they are as a team. The boys were outstanding again.”
Arteta highlighted his team’s attacking fluency and ability to find the net: “In attack, we showed real threat… We scored the first goal after a great little action from Gabby and then two brilliant goals in different ways.”
Arsenal’s impressive defensive form continued, and they have now conceded just four league goals in 2024 after earning their fifth consecutive clean sheet on the road, a club record. Gabriel’s passionate celebration of a crucial last-minute block epitomised the team’s spirit.
“That’s the spirit and the body language that you’re looking for in a team,” Arteta remarked. “Blocking a shot is a big thing in the box, and I’m really pleased.”
He concluded by emphasising the consistency that has propelled Arsenal’s title challenge: “The players are showing unbelievable consistency, a lot of desire, and quality because you don’t win that many games in a row.”
